Material
Saw blade base: usually made of high-strength alloy steel, such as 65Mn manganese steel or other high-quality tool steel, with good rigidity and toughness, can withstand the greater impact force when sawing aluminum billets, ensuring that the saw blade is not easily deformed or broken during high-speed operation and cutting.
Segment material: Generally, cemented carbide is used, which has a much higher hardness than aluminum billet material. It can maintain a sharp cutting edge, effectively cut into the aluminum billet for cutting, and has strong wear resistance, which can extend the service life of the saw blade and reduce the number of frequent replacement of the saw blade.
Use and maintenance
Before use: Check the saw blade for cracks, bends, tooth loss, etc. to ensure the quality of the saw blade is intact.
During installation: Make sure that the center hole of the saw blade is firmly fixed on the flange of the saw table, and align the cutting direction indicated by the arrow of the saw blade with the rotation direction of the saw table. It is strictly forbidden to install it in the opposite direction.
During use: During the cutting process, the saw blade should maintain the stability of the cutting speed and feed rate, avoid sudden acceleration or deceleration, and prevent the saw blade from being subjected to excessive impact.
Maintenance: When the saw blade becomes dull, it should be sharpened in time. When sharpening, choose a suitable diamond grinding wheel and use coolant to prevent the saw blade from overheating and annealing, which will affect its hardness and service life.
