PERFORMANCE OVERVIEW
Crystallizer Lubricant LB-230 is a high-quality full-formula special lubricant developed by aluminum casting experts based on production practice and long-term experiments for continuous casting of aluminum and aluminum alloys (aluminum ingots or aluminum round bars). It has stronger adhesion than vegetable oil. LB-230 can effectively protect the surface of the mold and improve the surface quality of aluminum alloy slabs and billets that are prone to oxidation and peeling. Under continuous lubrication, it ensures that the crystallizer is not damaged and forms a uniform protective oil film on the surface of the cast bar or slab.
PRODUCT APPLICABILITY
Due to the fluidity of LB-230, billets or slabs can be continuously lubricated during the casting process, especially for products longer than 5 meters. The lubricant can be injected by gravity or pump. This product is particularly suitable for aluminum molds with continuous lubrication in casting systems such as Wagstaff, Novelis, Almex, etc.
